Why is Obama leaving almost 70,000 troops in Afghanistan past the 2012 election, more than when he became Prez?

Because he is a liar who has no idea how to conduct a war, I think that unfortunately most politicians don't have a military clue, if you go to war go all in balls to the wall, destroy the enemy , then leave them in the stone age, unless you are annexing their territory then pullout, never rebuild a potentially future enemy
